Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she will cover everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the space industry and worked for the past five years covering the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other things. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted. Before joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Utilizing her expertise behind the camera, Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014, which was a specialist in documentary style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she received from Boston University. She lives with her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
